This beautifully crafted Loose Ring bit features three pieces including a Copper French Link. The French Link provides additional comfort for sensitive horses while encouraging salivation and acceptance of the bit. The moveable rings minimize the amount of pressure on the horse's mouth also promoting comfort. In addition, the double-jointed mouthpiece avoids the nutcracker action of a single joint, preventing the bit from hitting the roof of the mouth and giving the rider independent control over each side of the mouth.

It was surprisingly difficult to find a double jointed loose ring snaffle. This bit provides a more direct feel than a non-twisted loose ring. The french link presses on the horses tongue, encouraging contact.
