Refund policy

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal; however, pursuant to Article 16(e), this right does not apply to the supply of sealed goods which are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been unsealed after delivery. Because horse bits are placed directly into an animal's mouth, they present a high risk for the mechanical transmission of highly contagious equine pathogens, such as Equine Herpesvirus (EHV-1) and other equine viruses, which can easily spread via saliva and nasal secretions on contaminated tack. Consequently, to guarantee strict biosecurity and protect equine health, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any horse bits once their protective, tamper-evident hygiene seal has been broken or compromised.

To qualify for a return, the product must be in its original, unopened condition, with all seals and packaging completely intact and untampered with. The customer will be fully responsible for all return shipping costs and risks associated with transit. Return shipping fees and shopify transaction fees will be deducted from your final refund amount.
