This Eggbutt bit features a double jointed twisted mouthpiece. The French link provides additional comfort for sensitive horses. The fixed Eggbutt shaped rings allow the rider to keep consistent contact with the horse’s mouth. The double jointed mouthpiece avoids the nutcracker action of a single joint preventing the bit from hitting the roof of the mouth and gives the rider independent control over each side of the mouth.
