The Tapered French Link Double Jointed D bit features a flat, tapered lozenge that applies even pressure to the tongue when using rein aids. The thinner tapered mouthpiece is suitable for horses with large, fleshy lips and tongues. The mouthpiece is designed to have a tapered design starting thicker by the cheek piece and becoming thinner towards the French link. With two joints, it distributes pressure across the tongue and bars of the mouth without interfering with the roof of the horse's mouth. The French link encourages proper contact and responsiveness without squeezing.
