The Rubber Block Gag bit was designed to discourage fixing and leaning on the forehand. This softer version of our traditional stainless steel block model encourages suppleness and responsiveness. The gag cheek pieces allow for additional leverage for stronger horses that tend to be heavy on the forehand. When the reins are engaged, the rubber blocks apply pressure to the bars of the mouth which advises the horse to lift the balance and soften their mouth.
