The Locking Full Cheek is a special design that prevents the horse from pushing the bit off the bars of the mouth. The outside loops block the bit from moving past the straight position. The center links are flexible which prevents the horse from using the tongue to avoid contact with the rider's hand. The long shanks on the bit create pressure against the horse's cheeks when asked to turn. This design will help riders with control and steering.
