This Pelham bit provides increased leverage and lifting action similar to a gag bit. The loose ring pelham allows the mouthpiece to elevate in the horse’s mouth with increased poll pressure. The tapered mouthpiece allows for extra tongue room. The brass link stimulates salivation which in turn enhances the horse's comfort.
